I’ve launched a new league built on genuine team competition—where every rider on your roster matters. Fans now have a real stake in outcomes up and down the race card: even your "favorite" 32nd-ranked racer can swing the standings, giving you a reason to care about every racer's result and give you an interest in the entire broadcast. The model also unlocks meaningful marketing opportunities while preserving competitive independence: athletes choose their own bikes and component sponsors, and no single manufacturer—Specialized, Trek, or anyone else—can exert outsized influence or destabilize the league.
I took the current standings...made a few minor tweeks (like moved DaK up) added in the top 5 juniors as I think they all rank in the top 60...then ran a snake draft.

Rules:
Teams and rosters
There are 12 teams of 5 riders each (total 60 riders).
Teams are formed by a league draft (snake format unless otherwise stated).
Contracts and salaries
Every drafted rider signs a 3-year league contract.
Salary is tiered by draft position (earlier picks = higher band).
Separately, riders may sign any personal sponsorships they want; those deals don’t affect league salary.
Equipment and sponsors
Teams do not need uniform bike brands or components.
Each rider selects and manages their own equipment and sponsor relationships.
In-season scoring and exposure
At the end of each season, the lowest-points rider on every team is automatically placed in the Redraft Pool.
The second-lowest-points rider is “option-eligible”: the team must either protect or expose that rider. Exposed riders also enter the Redraft Pool.
Points are the official basis for “lowest” and “second-lowest.” Tie-breakers: best single finish, then most finishes, then coin flip.
Redraft Pool and incoming riders
The Redraft Pool consists of all automatically exposed lowest riders plus any second-lowest riders a team exposes.
Riders not currently on one of the 12 teams (free agents) are eligible to be selected from the Redraft Pool phase to fill vacated roster spots.
During this Redraft Pool phase, teams select to replace their exposed/removed riders. Selected riders sign a new 3-year league contract (reset clock).
Three-year commitments and turnover
The top three points earners on each team are locked to their current 3-year contracts for the coming season (no exposure).
A rider can be on the same team for a maximum of three consecutive years. After year three, they must enter the next main draft/Redraft Pool for reassignment.
Because redrafted players also receive fresh 3-year terms, league turnover is staggered—there is never a full reset.
Draft governance (quick hits)
Main draft sets teams; annual Redraft Pool fills only the exposed/vacant slots.
Draft order and any compensatory picks are set by the league office before each draft phase.
All selections, protections, and exposures must be declared by league deadlines.
If you want, I can convert this into a one-pager PDF with a simple table for deadlines and examples.
