Dak well ahead of all 3 at 40 seconds:image 38

Versus Bruni a wheel ahead at 1:02 but...

Dak off the brakes is BACK ahead less than 2 seconds later.  Hitting the berm at full tilt while Bruni is still on the bank!!!

I enjoyed that multi-screen while it's live. Hopefully owner set it to "unpublished".  Last time UCI/Warner Brothers banned his video & then made their own of it.

At about 1:32 Loic & Dak have been flip flopping and suddenly Loic just lets everything go and jumps past by a good 2 seconds by the 1:43 time on clock, but it's so fast he couldn't hold on.

Dak is 2-3 full bike lengths ahead at the padded entrance of the last shoot. 2 full yellow poles ahead of both!
 So good!!

Amazingly, here is the exact thing that wins it for Loris....boosting across the piste off the last little booter.  Benoit stays close to the ground and it steals his momentum into the finish berm.  I could watch these all day!!!

Could be crazy but I think Loris may have braked earlier in the chute for the second to last turn. The right turn where dak fell. It looks like early braking let him be composed and send it out of the woods with higher exit speed.

He’s a lot lighter & shorter than Benoit. Doubt he even braked there at all. Do a screen capture and we’ll nerd out together

Did anybody really talk about Danny's run? Feel like it was the underrated run of the race and not seeing a lot of talk about it. Not sure if it was touched on a bit and then forgotten but man... 17th at third split then just throw on the afterburners and send it all the way to 4th. Nearly podium'd.

Absolutely flying on that GT. After all these years. Feel like if he'd nabbed a medal, even bronze, the run would be a lot more talked about for what it was. Maybe ultimately overshadowed by Loris having a 'decent' run in 6th until the final split where he just decided to win. Cool, close racing. Just love how Danny ran it.

Interestingly on Wyntv he said he thought he had a flat for the first 30 seconds and took it easy in case he rolled the tyre off the rim, then realised it was fine and dropped the hammer. Horrible "what if" for him considering how tight the results were.

he also borrowed a rim off a random kid before his race run, on a different tyre brand and unknown pressure in it. Incredible story.

Lol, ignore me then. Sorry.

I saw a video on the 'gram and assumed it was from Worlds.
