My riding buddies and I are planning a 3-4 day trip to hit some DH parks in the Northeast / New England and was hoping to get some good tips. Mountain Creek is our local park and it's great for both jump lines and tech so we're hoping to find the same variety. We all have DH bikes so no need for rentals or gear.

We are thinking of hitting Highland, Killington, and Thunder Mountain. Any others that we should consider?

If you can pop over the border, Bromont in Quebec is super cool.

I have a soft spot for Sugarbush. It’s not the most polished , but the stuff in the “Eden” zone is really really fun classic New England loam and roots

I grew up riding on the East Coast. Every-time I come back I ride 1 day at Mtn Creek (because it's close to my parents). But then I go straight to Thunder Mtn and Killington. Never rode Highland, just because it's a bit farther out of the way. But obviously is has crazy good reviews.

Thunder blew my mind, amazing trails, flow and always perfect(when I have been there).

Killington has so much terrain, you can easy spend 3 days riding it. My dream trip would be 2 days at Thunder and 2-3 days at Killington.

Thunder, Killington, Highland and Creek are all great. Thunder is where I spend most of my time. It’s got gnarly tech, fun flow trails and Fort Hill. Which is a huge feature trail. Some of them are huuuuuge. Way out of my league. The first 6 big but manageable for me, then it’s gets crazy for me. Killington is massive. Loads of trails. Definitely need a couple days. And a local to show you around especially off of the gondola. Haven’t been to Highland this year, though I will get there. Smaller hill, but loaded with fun features. And some great tech trails that get overlooked. I’ve never been to Bolton Valley but I’ve heard it’s gnarly. Been dying to check it out.

Bolton is gnarly. I was last there in 2020 when you had to pedal up but I hear they are running the lifts now. Highland is a ton of fun, good mix of technical DH runs and machine built bike park stuff. Plus the Slopestyle course if that's your thing. North Conway is great. Mt Abram in Bethel, ME is pretty awesome too. Sunday River still has some great trails but they don't run the lifts anymore. Killington is incredible, of the riding I've done in New England that is the only place that can compare in quality to riding in the West. The Beast reminded me of Joyride / Lower Whistler DH. Black Magic is great. Cable trail, Funny Bone. It's a ton of fun. I rode there a few weeks ago and they've put so much work in since I last rode there in 2014. Killington was the highlight of my trip

Awesome thanks everyone! We've ridden Trestle a bunch too so it sounds like Killington and Thunder will do us really well for this trip. Maybe we'll take a trip to Highland before the season ends since it's 7 hours away, the other ones are a bit closer.
