I've got a couple. My first time at Whistler, the two berms after the step down after the A-line drop. They are lined with bricks, and high speed. I remember the first time I was able to carry enough speed to rip the first berm and jump into the next. You essentially change body direction in the air. Pretty cool feeling.

Another one is the mini road gap on heart of darkness... Pretty small, but a big first step. That felt rad.

Third is first time I realized how to push and control drifts. That was pretty cool too.

It's hard to decide on just one. In a close second would be getting to fly out to the Telluride World Cup race and hitting the big drop on the course as well as doing Trials demos on my DH bike.

But the absolutely coolest felling I've had involved a hit of nice clean liquid acid. I was again on the DH bike and was railing single track while holding onto the fork legs between the triple clamps. Ripping turns, manualing and jumping all the way down. Magic.
" involved a hit of nice clean liquid acid" Woohoo That sound pretty cool BigBird......were you riding in the parking lot at a Grateful Dead concert ? YOLO

Building something cool, and then shredding it with a bunch of cool people.

There's a trail at Windham Bike Park that has several short and tight 180 berms, one after one another after another. Dive in tight, front wheel cocked and loaded. Shift some weight onto the rear wheel to get it loose, it slides and catches the berm. Launch straight outta there and get a little weightless. Next corner's on you now, no room to relax. Time to lay it over again...

That weightless floaty feeling you get off a steep lip that really pops - feels like it just kinda throws you up in the air. That's the dopamine drip right there.

Being old now it is good just to make it home but nothing beats railing a corner with a bit of drift and uncertainty..

several years ago, my son towed me into a big booter at Beacon Hill. The speed, seeing him lift, then I lift, floaty, then he's falling, then I'm falling, then setting down and smashing a dusty berm after the landing, schralp.. schralp!

The first time you hit a feature, does not matter if it is a gap, table, rock face. The first time you clean a feature is the best, nothing like it.

Honestly I just love the feeling of mechanics vs nature. A favorite for a few of us was an off camber gravelesque long corner which we used to hit at about 30mph, a straight 30ft drop, spikey deadwood and trees to the left, when your wheels are digging in and your knees are skimming the ground, survival feels good Smile
