I woke up this morning to a new facebook message from Andrew Taylor.  Turns out he and Shelby Paget have been busy!  Aside from slaying the dirt jumps and preparing for the 2011 slopestyle season, they have been developing a cool new product called the POM-CAM (POM stands for Point Of Me). Essentially it's a way to turn your iPhone into point-of-view camera, or helmet cam as they are more commonly referred to.

Check it out in the Kickstarter video below:

AT and Shelby have put in a lot of time and effort into this project so far, but they could use your help. They want to bring the POM-CAM to market.  To do that, they've set up an account on Kickstarter. Never heard of Kickstarter?  It's a way for people with great ideas to acquire enough financial backing to turn their ideas into reality.  By "pledging" any amount of money to the project, you help AT and Shelby get closer to their funding goal which is needed to get the company off the ground.  If their total goal of $200,000 is not pledged, your credit card doesn't get charged, so there's no risk in supporting the project.  You're also entitled to receive the product and other goodies based on the amount you contribute, so you have the opportunity to essentially pre-order the POM-CAM.

AT and Shelby, congrats!  We dig this idea...
