This isn't an official Olympics' site, is riddle with errors so I wouldn't take much notice of it.
To start off the 1st sentence is incorrect "The 2032 Brisbane Olympics will be the first time that mountain biking has been included in the Olympic Games". XCO has been a part of the games since the Atlanta 1996.

Lol, afaik, 2032 is the last time mtb racing will be in the Olympics, at all.
The remaining countries willing to host the Olympics (Think oil-rich dictatorships) don’t want to be burdened with mtb racing.
