We all wear shoes how come Maxxis doesn't Team up with a Shoe Manufacturer and make shoes for us using our favorite tread patterns? Seems logical to me but I'm sure theres a reason they dont do it, in some portions of the world old tires are repurposed to shoe soles but I'd definitely buy a set of Maxxis shoes if they existed.
Just Saying
Brilliant!
Continental rubber on bike shoes...
Goodyear rubber on, well, skechers (hello Kanye)
Puma has some pirelli soles....
Hmmmm, why not a Maxxis x ______ colab?
Does Troy Lee make shoes yet?
Will my soles then fall appart as fast as the side knobs on my assegai's?
What about Vibram entering the tire game?
Not sure, you'd have to ask someone from TLD.
Michelin also work with some shoe manufacturers whether in the bike or the outdoor world.
Vibram is used in bike shoes. Conti is present in trail and hiking shoes from Adidas, obviously not on MTB models. Michelin is a collaborator on some shimano and Northwave shoes. There is some overlap, but it might mostly be marketing...
