Hey guys,

Anyone else riding the current Rocky Slayer? I'm back and forth about the spring rate after trying a few and I'm wondering what others are running for coil vs weight.

Depends on the Slayer. The 27.5 and 29 have different amounts of travel and overall progression.

I'm 6ft, 175lbs before gear, and use a range of 400-425 on the 29, and 450-475 on the 27.5.

Here's the starting chart for Slayer coil setup: https://www.bikes.com/sites/default/files/resources/MY20_Slayer_SpringR…

I'm on a 2020 slayer 29, I'm 180-190lbs, 5'11".I'm running my bike in the second slackest ride4 setting, and have a 475lb spring rate in the rear on my super deluxe (sprindex), and 100ish psi with 2 spacers in my lyrik. If you're having issues picking a spring rate, the springdex really helps, it's honestly easier to adjust than air.

Side note: I'll be swapping the rear wheel for a 27.5 when at some point this season and expect that I may need to up my spring rate in the back to compensate for the weight shift caused by the swap.
