I don't know about anyone else but I'm pretty pumped to watch some Fort Bill DH racing. I know my idea may be far fetched, but how cool would it be if there was coverage of practice much in the same way you can watch golf coverage? (selecting a hole/camera/group).
I realize there are major amounts of overhead to this type of coverage but if they were to utilize stationary cameras via some sort of live streaming technology, or better, some sort of technology where the camera is able to track a "chip" in the riders number plate (yeah, pie in the sky I know) I think you could quickly have human-less coverage of practice and qualifying. Something for us desk jockies on a friday.
Just a thought. All my colleagues seem pretty dialed into the golf scene... Seems possible!

if signal was good enough, we could just tape iphones with periscope running all day to certain course markers haha.
