The build crew is moving full speed ahead at Winter Park for this year's Crankworx Colorado event. We'll be posting construction updates here when they become available, so check back often.

Ebbett explains what they're shooting for this year:

i like the idea of a mellower start feature. the old one was SUPER sick, but seemed to be 50-50 for the riders making it when trying 360's and other gnar stuff and if it was just straight-aired, it really had no effect on scores. if they can't make it down the course, it's no fun for spectators to watch. yeah ebbett!

Nice, it's about time they save the big jumps for the bottom. Watching every other rider blow his rear tire or body up landing that first drop was getting a little old, and it certainly lacked in photo/entertainment value. Stoked for CO Crankworx!

They're really stepping it up this year. I wonder if it says somewhere in the Crankworks contract that the Colorado course can't be as cool as the Whistler course because Ebbett is coming dangerously close.
