Additional Info | This is my absolute dream build. I set out to build a bombproof DJ bike that is super lightweight but still capable of sending it through the big set at the trails. 09/25/16: Maxxis DTH 2.15 tires are replaced with DMR SuperMoto 2.2 (F&R) |

The DTHs were designed for the 2008 Olympic BMX track, which means they're ideal for hardpack dirt and cement/concrete surfaces. I thought they were awesome in those situations but I mostly ride dirt jumps and pumptracks so I switched to the SuperMotos for a little extra bite when I run into any dust or loose dirt on top of hardpack. They also ride super well at the skatepark so for my riding style, these are the best all-around'rs I've found.
I have friends that swear by the DTH's and consider them the best all-around tires for a DJ. I grew up riding Comp III's on my BMX so I think I'm just used to having a little more side knob bite. You can't go wrong with either tire though, it just comes down to preference.
I'll have to give the KHE's a look, thanks for the tip!
