Having owned a Dakine truck pad for a couple of years I was excited about the introduction of a new pad on the market. While most pads do a good job of protecting your truck's tailgate, when the road gets rough it's very easy to damage bikes when they shift positions and rub on each other. Cool wheels and great reveiw. I was shown the harmonic technique four years ago by a master mechanic who taught me wheel building. He said that before accurate tensiometers this was one of the best ways to evenly tension a wheel and he has been in the game a long time. I still use this technique today and find it to be quit accurate although I always double check with a tensiometer.
