TRM Obi1 has not been shown on their website for quite some time. We´re checking our competitors regularly. Why the post is not on their website anymore, I don´t know, and I do not want to speculate. As mentioned before, the FRM´s weight is based on 27.2 diameter. Of course it is lighter. It has only 60mm of travel. If you want to use it in a 30.9 or 31.6 seatttube, you´d have to use shims, which weighs, as wel. We´ve designed the DIVINE SL with 80mm, because that is the result of many discussuions with teams, riders, manufacturers and...

I am sorry, but FRM Obi1 seatpost is not even available on FRM´s own website. Maybe you can tell me, why? Where can you buy it, or where can you find information about it, besides the old articles? Also the FRM weight is for 60mm drop and 27.2 diameter. DIVINE SL is 30.9 an 80mm drop. Quite a bit of a difference.

6/12/2018 4:51am Don't have an opinion on the YT because I haven't ridden one but man I love my Smuggler. I have ridden a lot of bikes and so far it is my favorite.

Thats a decent point. I just wonder if that 9% is worth not having a good relationship with the local bike shop. I know my shop will take care of any issue but I have to wonder if it would be different had I not bought from them.

I knew that but I figured there is no benefit from buying online like the other companies listed. They are still a bike shop focused brand. I guess it would be different if it was a few hundred cheaper buying direct. Plus they ship their bikes completely disassembled so buying it direct only makes sense if you don't have a local bike shop close that carries them.

I never thought of Transition as a consumer direct brand. You can still buy through a bike shop at the same price and without building the bike.

I am all for E-Bikes just not E-Mountain Bikes. Even then I just personally will never buy one, not being for EMTB's does not mean that I'd be against someone else riding them.
