Y'all are a bunch of haters. I think it's unique and much different than the played out, all-black everything that EVERYONE does these days. The components are uniformly colored and pretty damn spiffy. Is it semi-emulative of the Lakers colors? Sure. But the purple and gold also remind me of Mardi Gras, Popsicles and taffy. it's rad.

yeah did they put out some press release on specialized ibd about how they felt 650 b was a fad and didnt see the advantage to it over 26 or 29....... hmmmm

i have had the links for almost a year, and they are great shoes. but mine wore out really fast. my tread pattern has worn and is almost gone as a result my traction has suffered. BUT i still have ok grip. They smell like a dead goat. and the material on the inside of my heel has just been obliterated as well. I get that it was their first flat peddle shoe as well, and they are still learning. Im sure that their pro's who tested the shoe had a new pair every couple months so it is understandable...
