Review by Johan Hjord // Photos by Tal Rozow and Johan Hjord Five Ten’s Stealth rubber is legendary among flat pedal riders, and with good reason. To this day, it remains what is widely considered to be the stickiest, grippiest sole option available short of clipping in. For a few years however, the only shoes available with this magic compound were slightly heavy and bulky items, often lacking a bit in finish and in the general level of construction of the shoe (if you’ve ever glued the outsole back onto your Impacts you know what we mean). Fast forward to...

Long term update and review of the new Trail RS EVO. The Trail RS served me well over the past year. Fit is still good; however, I stand by my original comments on the chin strap. Now for the new Trail RS EVO. Basically it's the same helmet with black inner pads and a black chin strap pad vice the bright green pads on the EVO. The only major difference is the retention system. VonR Added a comment about product review TRS+ 11-Speed (Gen 1)
1/25/2017 4:52pm Thanks for the info. I don't have any problems with the chain rubbing the frame or drop out. It was rubbing a little on my OneUp chain guide. I reshimmed the chain guide and fine tuned the derailleur b nut and lower limit screw. Shifting into the 9T is much better, but still not as good as with a XT rear derailleur.

1/24/2017 7:01pm I might try a 30T for somewhere with longer climbs, but I'm happy with the 32T chainring for riding here in SoCal.

9/11/2017 - 10:52amVonR Started a new thread Trail Closures San Diego County
3/22/2016 12:32pm More trail closures in San Diego County. So far we have upper Anderson, trails in Jamul, Santee Lakes, South Sycamore, and now Ted Williams all closed off this year. Most of this is private land that has been ridden on for years. Santee Lakes and south Sycamore are combined private and military land. The 25 acres of private land at...
