My first real hardtail mountain bike! I got this for jibs and to have something more pedal friendly than my Commencal Clash. It really does ride like a dirt jumper in how it pedals and pumps, but feels like a mountain bike when hitting rougher stuff and sitting down to pedal for a while. Plus having a front brake is pretty fun. The Shimano shifter and derailleur work surprisingly well with the Sram chain and cassette, like really well. No issues to report. I'm also stoked on the all red look, I was lucky to get this red bomber for a great price.

I think this build turned out great, built on a fairly tight budget but no compromises made in quality.
