1/2/2010 7:03pm see, this is why the forums are good. discussion and exchanging of ideas. jack, since i'm the only employee for vital that participated in the other grassroots thread, i want to make it clear that my reply (which is an opinion only) stated the "give away product cheap or free, no questions asked" programs are the ones hurting the sport...

12/31/2009 12:55pm
if your vid is submitted in january, it will be evaluated with all other videos submitted in january. if you submit in february, it will go up against the february videos...it's pretty straight-forward. every month there will be $250 up for grabs. january's winner will be announced shortly after the end of the month and so on, every month.

12/22/2009 4:55pm nick, yeah, i'm referring to the programs that hand out "sponsorship" to anyone who asks. seems like there are a lot of these deals popping up more frequently which is a bummer. actual, proper "sponsorship" of a developing athlete is great. companies building relationships with riders who show promise, talent and dedication is definitely needed in the game and i...

12/22/2009 2:18pm giving product away cheap or free to anyone who asks does not breed brand loyalty. if companies look at the long-term, they'll see these programs are bad ideas.

Unfortunately the contest was canceled due to high winds. It won't run tomorrow either. Sorry folks : ( Such a bummer because the format is great and the jumps were so well built. We did have a pretty epic session at the other local spot, so that'll go up soon. THANKS X-FUSION, GRIZ AND CREW FOR TRYING!
