12/4/2014 3:23pm Chainstay has to be longer, because with such a short top tube, your ass is going to be hanging WAY out over the back behind the saddle the second the hill actually gets steep.

sreschke Added a comment about news story No More Beer in the Booth - Rob Warner on Becoming a Commentator
12/3/2014 8:50pm I stand corrected. Hardly the point. The point was to sarcastically criticize the boring AUSTRIANS for ending the Rob Warner party. It was supposed to be humorous sarcasm. Spare me the geography lesson. I know Salzburg is Austria. Have you never made a mistake when typing something out?

8/28/2014 6:43am You may have a point. I haven't worked with tubulars either. I just know they glue them in, but in this case, since you're not actually riding on the tire, maybe you could skip the gluing step. But now that I'm looking, it seems it might be hard to find those tires on the cheap, and so it might make the point moot. Even at $50/tire, you're still spending $100 for something ghetto. At that cost, for me, I'll just shell out the extra hundred for the procore.

8/27/2014 2:44pm I don't think a tubular tire would work. Because it gets glued to the rim, when you're inflating your main tire (or outer chamber), the air going through the valve wouldn't be able to get past the tubular tire and into the main chamber. To do the ghetto style, the only way I can see it working is with a clincher style tire and tube, which is similar to what the procore system is.

7/30/2014 7:30am Baller build. Love the notion of a park/light dh bike that can pedal. I'm thinking scoping seatpost and a 170 or 175mm cranks to add to the pedaling, and it'll be a true winner.

7/28/2014 8:10am Loved the idea of this value build project. Then I saw this: TR500 The dual crown value build at $4499 makes this thing a real winner.

7/11/2014 7:48am I'm just a little surprised more people didn't vote suntour. Value fork with great features, receiving good reviews so far. It would be great to see this on a budget build so we could see a long term review on the fork.

6/19/2014 8:34am The addition of the Bionicon C.Guide is a brilliant idea. In addition to clutch derailleur and primary chainguide, the supplementary c.guide must reduce chainslap completely. I'm thinking your bike must be incredibly quiet, and I'm definitely going to be adding this setup to my own ride.
