It says Sixfinity on the website but where is it hiding? Looks like the rocker could potentially actually be a split pivot and it also looks like something hiding in the seat tube behind the shock area…

In my opinion they may have misjudged the current economic climate, but I'm pretty sure they'll still sell a bunch of these to all the fanboyz out there. I was hoping to see more trickle down AXS technology, not more higher end inflation personally. I guess they ARE still refining the concept, but I'll be trying out the new CUES...

Well, just because it’s not a good idea doesn’t mean some big company might still not implement it 😂 it works for gravel because the suspension travel is very short compared to Mtb and because it only really works when sitting down on the saddle and pedaling. Possible reason for bonded carbon tubes instead of welded Alu: maybe it allows them to tune the stiffness of the front triangle easier by using different thickness of carbon?

I like what trinity is doing with the BB area mount that can work for normal/e-bike/gearbox etc. seems like a design standardization here could make a lot of things compatible.

Quite an attractive looking design I must say. Very slack seat angle which isn't an issue for a DH bike perhaps but if this design ever sees an evolution to a freeride/Enduro version some proper alterations would have to be made to get a more useable seat angle and dropper length.

Exactly, the X2 doesn’t really have a great rep at the moment. If they can just move the negative chamber port in the vivid so it doesn’t get sucked down and stuck there (have to drill the can to release it!) I guess the addition of the HBO wouldn’t hurt but probably isn’t necessary if you can add spacers
