Just curious OMP77, do you actually live in the Vail Valley? Or do you live in Lakewood (Denver) CO and are one of the MTC partners? Mihai or Steve?

"World-renowned" ?? At what exactly? Because it certainly is not at trail building, trail destroying is a far more accurate depiction..... just ask 90% of the trail users in Eagle, CO. I spent 6yrs in Flagstaff from '92 to '98 during mtb'ing's infancy but also it's hey-days, rode with old school Flagstaff legends like Yod Branch, Steve Garro, Doug Dalton & Joe Murray. I have a vested history in Flagstaff mtb'ing, I'm stoked to see all the development over the past two decades. FBO seems to be a fantastic group of dedicated riders, the work and trail development they've helped...

Not only is this virtually the same exact angle/picture 7 out of 8 times but the parts list is weak AF both in quality & quantity. Must have been VERY slim pick'ns for the BOD 2/7/26!

Very nice! The Essential will forever be one of my favorite bikes of all time. Sick use of the TS C22 FM caliper, that's unquestionably the best brakeset available for the Essential & FM rear end. Such a RAD 130/150 bike with a grossly underestimated & underappreciated suspension system.

Sorry brother but your 6.7lb frame with HEAVY as balls XT alloy wheels and a full XT build kit is NOWHERE NEAR 26.5lbs! You are lucky if that thing is under 30lbs, very simple math actually.
