Sick build! Very well done, love the originality. Just an opinion here, but a bike that looks this clean deserves a far better wheelset, drivetrain and cockpit.... having owned multiple Trek Slash bikes, the "Bonedragger" pieces are a grave injustice to the Slash.

Jealous??? Of your clapped out mechanical GX and stock Code brakes bike? Thank you for that! No, I think my previous four BODs will suffice. And as far as Spomer and his "selections" go, that dude has chosen bone stock GX bikes over fully custom frame up builds on multiple occasions, his "selections" are questionable "at best". He's hanging out with "legends" like Matt Thompson too often. And your very rare paint scheme is nothing of the sort, simply ordered that way and if you paid $1 for the "super duper very rare vintage racing style" paint, well.... that's...

I'm sure the wheels will ride great, the bike was built for my wife.....and she hasn't ridden it yet, still recovering from a really bad ankle injury.

Sorry, forgot that part.....it's a large also. Yeah, the wheelset is roughly 320grs lighter than stock set, Aishima rotors are 65grs each lighter, the ESI grips were 70grs lighter, the Spesh saddle is 60grs lighter than stock, the I9 stem is 50grs lighter than stock....all adds up.
