5/11/2025 9:24am 2 days of racing, long stages, riders wearing packs, crazy techy transfers, huge variety in bikes/gear. Glo would be proud! Maybe there is hope? Just need to work on the female entries. 4 racers in Jr women is not good.

5/8/2025 7:55am A few years back Chris Blevins chose the "old" Epic over the newly released Epic World Cup/Super Caliber copy, and did quite well on it. In fact, the Epic World Cup seems to be a big flop with most of the Team riders not choosing to race it. Rudeau on the new Fox fork as well.

5/7/2025 6:15pm RR running the new Fox inverted fork on his SB160. But I don't think he has any concerns about pedaling. Charlie Murray set the trail bike precedent by running a Stumpy and Lyrik for all of last season, and got some solid results.

I credit Richard Lancaster with this concept. In the late 1990's he was cutting the beads off of XC tires and putting them inside DH tires (with a tube under the XC tire) in order to run low pressures with no pinch flats. However, I think Tubliss will take offense to this. Much like when they sued Schwalbe Procore out of existence. Don't mess with the moto companies!

Vivid air and current Vivid coil both require a few proprietary tools to service, but they pale in comparison to that crazy $500 Fox VVC adjuster that was "required".
