Agreed, from a rim only perspective very similar to Reserve 30mm alloy in terms of weight/size and warranty. But no offset spoke bed (for more balanced spoke tension), no awesome Fillmore valve stems, and $20 more per rim. Which leads to another question; Why are alloy rims so expensive these days? Manufacturing technology and materials have not really changed, but price has gone way up. Are the "lifetime warranty" companies basically charging more to offset replacement costs?

6/10/2025 8:23am Spacer thickness should not affect the shifting as it's not mounted between derailleur/hanger, a thicker washer just means less thread engagement. A .5mm to .8mm thick 12mm shoulder shim works great for Shimano derailleurs. "Bottom-out progressiveness has been increased with the addition of a spring booster" Would like some details on this, is there a little coil spring in the air assembly now? Is it still a 3 chamber air spring? It's rare to see an air spring that needs to be more progressive, it's typically the opposite. Coil sprung stock DH38 is a great option though, wonder what the price will be?

If you try the alignment check without a wheel in the lowers, it is sticky. But as soon as you put a wheel in, it spreads the lowers slightly, and alignment is perfect...
