The large reign = enduro/xc warrior. They need to update the reign with some carbon action but don't forget what it's really made for. Jumping over peoples heads, slashing trails, and making dh riders look bad! Not every bike has to be made for that enduro euro crap.

Nice bike but all that carbon and it still weighs 30 lbs. I guess transition will always be on the heavy side of it.

Finally a ht makes it up for bike of the day. Nice build, 22lbs is crazy light. I feel your pain with those lousy XX brakes but they should do the job for your setup.

7k? is a joke for this setup. Looks like it's back to the drawing board for GT after this review. It's good they are trying some new linkage designs but that bottom link- below the BB is going to get mashed up by rocks quickly.

When is Campy going to break into the MTB market? Now that every Euro is racing enduro it seems like they would have a local following and even roadies turned trail riders here in the US would buy from Campy as well.

Wow that reminds me of my first black bear encounter on the trails. One thing you need to pay attention to is your side view's. Bears are very smart and tend to creep up and flank you without making a sound. Getting flanked by a grizzy lool sometimes it's good to be on the east coast. Nice vid!

I like where GT is going with this design but think it would benefit from having 140mm-160mm travel options in the rear.
