Incredible run.. This speed, steepness, huge flip. Big probs to Brendog! Quite similar as Hardline in some spots

Favorite Rampage run in a long time. Maybe ever? This has so many incredible elements and end-to-end looks scary and technical as hell. Even the transitions are a lot more natural and loose looking. I know he went early. I know many other riders had some HUGE runs. But this embodies Rampage, freeride, and mountain biking in general much more than the highly manicured drops and trick jumps. Realistically, how many of the other guys would have ridden this? They all spoke of it as one of the most technical and scary lines on the mountain. How can that not...

It is an almighty task of the judges to nail it every time on the spot. Every year they open themselves up for criticism, dispite making efforts to rectify any previous injustice. I do however feel Brendog was the unlucky victim this year, largely to do with format, although the McGazza award for him and his team was some consolation and very justified. Would a fair and reasonable solution be to keep the first run scores hidden, until all riders drop, so as to gauge the overall standard and level of riding, and then pitch everyone accordingly. The people demand Gordo RBR recaps for the next 3 days. Almost as good as the WC / EWS slideshows. The people also demand a Gordo Inside Line interview sometime soon. While we're here, the people wouldn't mind more original content because when you do, it's miles ahead of other internet delivery systems.
