Come on boys, these are STEEL, not aluminum. If you're gonna make a super thin pedals, then this makes sense eh? I suppose only time will tell if the bearing can hack it though...

In depth race coverage and articles on the people, companies, venues, technology in our sport 4. Interviews are always good 5. Product reviews

Steve, awesome review. The background and depth of information is great. This is a review you can use, which is pretty rare. I'd love to read more from you man! Lee: I found when I moved to flats I had to make my suspension more lively. I find I really pumped the terrain more, so the bike needs to respond to your body inputs more. When clipped in I could run the bike suspension more dead and compensate by moving the bike around with my feet.

9/29/2010 1:59pm Did I hear that UCI will move from 4X to Dual Slalom next year? Man I hope so. Might that mean that a lot of DH guys will go back to racing Dual and become two event ponies? And might that mean that certain riders become more valuable to certain teams? Hmmmmmmm!

8/4/2010 12:52pm So what's the point? Is the UCI planning to sell the footage they collect from the freecaster cameras to all the trade teams and make a buck? This is about the only reason I can think of as to why they'd put these rules in place.

8/4/2010 9:28am As a consumer, I'm willing to trade those rules for 14 cameras on the hill for the live feed. But I hope this doesn't apply to the guys making end of year films and other projects.
