The blowoff valves in the past (Manitou) increased harshness and rider fatigue iirc. Their old pricing was pretty bonerific - not sure about the new stuff but design looks good. Nice to see variable CS lengths.

9/6/2023 1:10pm for anyone wondering, Loic says: He has a bike that barely holds up, with a limp... I wonder if he'd say that on an English podcast, but it's fairly damning towards Intense. If true, and I think it likely is, Dak might welcome a landing spot elsewhere. Maybe Trek?

why ochain on a high pivot with idler equipped bike? I thought the idler exists to manage pedal kickback/chain growth, so isn't ochain redundant?

About as expected, thanks for confirming! And yes, your experience mirrors mine, standard habit is to buy three rims whenever I build a wheelset.

great to see some more aftermarket rings that are Transmission compatible, but a little dissapointed they didn't offer a 0mm offset.

6/27/2023 10:34am It’s funny - I’ve mentioned a few times in the pinkbike comments that they should slow the tracks down and get killed in the comments. Slower track with better trackside preparation should help reduce some injuries.

broadly, have to agree. I love Gwin and it was great to see him find the pace towards the end of last year. This injury won't help things, but he's a champion.

1/14/2023 5:23am Anne-Caro competed in the events that are the pinnacle of the sport. Jill at the behest of sponsors ran around to all the Crankworx novelty events and cleaned up vs weak competition. Jill’s a great athlete with amazing bike handling but whenever she went to DH or Enduro events, her results were blah. ACC is goat, Rachel is next.

Other than cutting their factory team and leaving a bunch of athletes without support, mid-contract, I'd agree. The bikes have been pretty good.

Is there any reason for this to NOT be wireless? I think the AXS stuff works well. This seems archaic, and if they haven’t gone wireless for their non-ebike stuff…? They’re going to be years behind SRAM when their next gen stuff comes out April 2023.
