About as expected, thanks for confirming! And yes, your experience mirrors mine, standard habit is to buy three rims whenever I build a wheelset.

Spoke tension was good on arrival and has stayed that way since, with both wheels still fully true. This is fairly common in high-quality carbon wheels actually, and definitely one of the main selling points IMO. On the other hand, I can't remember the last time I had an alloy wheelset that didn't require some work (or a new rim!) at some point.

When you say didn't have to put a spoke wrench to them, was it because they didn't come out of true, or because you checked the tension and it remained even across the wheel? Incredibly tempted for "maintenance-free" aspect of carbon wheels but are a few reasons I keep holding out

How's it compare to the kestrel lace? More protection? Less stiff?

I built my Troy up about a month ago, no issues yet. Pressed a few BBs for a few different friends last summer and no complaints from them about creaking yet. Threaded is way easier though, cannot argue that. I've been running my troy at 30% sag and definitely have not bottomed yet in a month of riding (and enduroing!). I'm curious to try it at 35% or take out a band to see how it fairs.
