1/9/2024 8:59am Yea that would probably make sense. Intense probably owns the IFR name.

1/9/2024 7:27am You're not wrong. Gwin is probably among the most expensive athletes in the business, and then for him to run his own team is a premium on top of that. ...but if Intense came to Gwin and said "ya too rich" - why would he choose becoming a free agent over lowering his price? Why would he let MS Racing...

1/9/2024 7:24am The main reason I keep suggesting there won't be an elite MS Intense is speculation on my part that Intense does not have that extra cash flow at the moment. Perhaps there is nice cooperation between MrMS and Intense or they are working on some collab; i just do not see it being a full blown WC team. I've been suggesting Dak is on Mondraker...what three riders would occupy this MS Intense team if Dak is not one of them?

1/4/2024 8:00am I mean, that could also be MS Racing desperate for a new major sponsor and trying to convince Intense to hook them up. Maybe they will put Intense bikes under both Gwin and Dak, but under separate teams?

1/3/2024 9:40am I appreciate the hope you all have for frameworks but I think a lot of you are holding it up to be the next syndicate-esque mega team or something. This is literally a passion project that Neko started very recently. He’s accomplished a lot but let’s not start assuming every big name is headed there.

1/3/2024 7:19am Gwin becomes Co-Owner of Frameworks Team - 30% chance Dak stays on Intense, Intense becomes MS-Intense - 60% chance. Gwin takes a year off to build Windrock up as a training center - 50%

1/2/2024 1:23pm Do we have any precedent for former Red Bull Helmets turning into Monster Helmets? It seems like the contract issues surrounding such a move would be pretty tough even for someone like Aaron Gwin. Unless he maintains a sort of distant but still mutually beneficial relationship to such a team, it's highly unlikely we'll see Gwin own a Monster Energy...

1/2/2024 10:13am It's not going to be a factory team. Which usually means the brand chips in a substantial amount of funding. Gwin and Dak being without a frame sponsor would be a huge hit, unless they join Neko under frameworks or something. Why would Intense do that? Frames are cheap. Unless Gwin and team basically say "we're not riding your frames...

1/2/2024 9:30am Gwin owns IFR. I'd think two things would happen, that Intense stops supporting IFR, but keeps supplying frames, Gwin rebrands as a new team. Or, Intense severs completely, leaving the former IFR team to find a new frame sponsor. I think the later is unlikely, considering the development of the bike and the fact that Dak just was shilling for...

8/4/2023 4:57pm That would really help Manitou out, as they've got a better damper than Fox or Rockshox. Their stuff might not be as light, but it might get more adjusted to that reverse arch again.

5/12/2023 3:05pm The dog chewing on the bone in the background was super irritating and distracting. Even if it wasn't a dog, but instead a baby playing on the floor, or Spomer playing with a fidget spinner, the noise was still really distracting.

12/28/2022 1:12pm Ok. But it's not cheap. GG is the thermoplastic equivilent of a garage built brazed steel frame. CSS/Fusion Fiber is a pretty high tech player. I honestly wonder if Revved Carbon Manufacturing doesn't have a patent that CSS and others are trying to work around. Its interesting that GG hasn't made rims yet, and that CSS hasn't made a frame...

6/1/2022 10:22am Still think we'll have no issues buying the longest stroke HBO equipped Super Deluxe Air, then adding stroke spacers to limit the stroke. Yea you might lose the HBO functionality in the process (especially with a 7.5mm reducer) but it'd save some effort on rebuilding the shock. Lets figure the needle is 25% of a 65mm stroke shock. That's 16.25mm...

5/27/2022 3:48pm The Needle is in the bottom of the damper stanchion. Not sure if its threaded in or pressed into the shaft. In either case, you'll be buying parts and tearing apart the shock to change travel. However, if you bought an overly long shock and you spaced down the stroke, the worst that would happen is that you've lost the...

5/9/2022 10:05am I wonder if this means something is happening with Intense and/or Gwin's involvement at WindRock? Aaron had said before his house was only 10 minutes from Intense HQ. If you wanted to be really involved in the company I'd think that would be ideal location, unless the company was willing to follow you...maybe somewhere you could ride custom-built DH trails...

5/3/2022 1:33pm Kinda bummed that the RC2T Air doesn't include HBO. I wonder if that was just a mistake on the part of WorldWideCyclery or they ditched the HBO option on the air shocks. Or, can you get the HBO option on the RC2T, but you only get HBO on the Air Shock if you got for the RC3T? Hmmm...

9/5/2017 10:44am Ok, so is that 490g claim for the alloy or carbon models? 490g for 275" alloy seems pretty competitive, for carbon it seems pretty burly. I'd also like to know if the alloy models will get offset spoke drilling as well. I'd love some lightweight alloy asym rims in 28h.

9/2/2017 9:03am The pictures shows the new Arc rims available in both carbon and aluminum with the same weight and cost, which seems like a typo. I also wonder if Race Face will offer asym alloy rims.
