We know that many riders in Europe are eager to get their hands on our electronic dropper post conversion kit. Our goal is to make the product available internationally as soon as possible. Right now, obtaining CE certification, which is required for European sales, is a longer and more costly process. We are doing everything we can to make the kit available in Europe as soon as possible after the Kickstarter campaign. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have a more precise timeline.

Hi, Yes, in some cases, removing the dropper post to charge it might work. However, given the vast variety of bike frame designs, we can't guarantee reliable wireless connectivity without the charging port, which also serves as a waveguide for the wireless connection. As for bikes with externally routed cables where the wires exit near the bottom bracket, we do not currently have a shorter charging cable, but it’s something we might consider based on demand.

Taken from their FAQ. " Do I really need to install the actuator's charge cable? Yes, installing the charge cable is recommended for reliable performance. It ensures proper signal transmission and allows easy access for charging. While it might work without it, we cannot guarantee consistent functionality."

That's a great note, because the cable routing and lever/head thing at the bottom of a cable-operated seatpost adds total stack height to every cable operated post. It's tricky because that amount will be a little different for every post, and likely different depending on how tight of a corner the cable housing has to turn inside a particular frame's seat tube at max insertion depth. So 38mm of added seatpost length doesn't necessarily equal 38mm of lost insertion depth. I think it's a cool solution that could be great for certain customers but isn't going to be ideal for...

I believe you're referring to the OG Bikeworks project. OnlyMotion has no connection to that. We developed our own electronic dropper post conversion kit from the ground up, completely independent of Gallagher or BikeYoke. Our solution is a unique approach, designed and tested in-house to provide the best possible experience for riders.

Kickstarter page: This measurement should be subtracted from the 10 to 20mm suggested by oneup. So 38mm - 20mm = 18mm loss

This seems pretty sick! I'm not a "seeking out wireless stuff" sort of guy but this is something I'd be looking at if I were interested in that sort of thing. I hope it all goes well for you!
