2/28/2010 7:48pm Wah wahs were an awesome surprise for me. Two+ seasons and going smooth and strong. A lot cheaper than the high end brands. I'm currently trying out some Deity pedals which seem like copies of Wah Wahs (probably made in same Taiwan fab) and we'll see. I've ridden the Canfield crampons briefly and they seem awesome, but expensive. Excellent concept...

12/31/2009 10:18am I think bike shops do not need to carry cell phones and work all hours of the day or night. This isn't healthcare, for Christ's sake - we're just riding bikes here! Nobody (the larger sports community) cares about DH racing and I hope it stays that way. Otherwise, we'll all just be a bunch of blood-doping, womanizing, Audi-driving, leg-shaving...

12/28/2009 11:12am The "sponsor anybody" (including me) programs are problematic at best and evil at worst. They definitely undercut local bike shops, can screw the "sponsored" rider with ridiculous shipping arrangements, lack of availability (for help, product backorders, etc) and the rider may not be getting much of a deal in the first place. I'll be blacklisted from their site. ....
