Sure that can be a problem. I designed the leverage ratio to use the higher starting leverage for small bump sensitivity, but as it moves through its travel, the mechanical advantage of the frame over the shock decreases, so that you don't end up blowing your shock or damaging your damper. It will have shorter service intervals than for example a 60mm stroke for the same travel - but it highly depends on the leverage ratio and curve as to whether it will inevitably damage you shock or not.

Sure. The only way to increase stack keeping the same geo/fork travel would be increasing headtube length. A good idea if you are selling complete bikes - since at OEM you can cut steerers from full length, but if it is a frame only design - then it is limiting to your potential buyers in terms of steerer tube length on forks they buy new or secondhand or already own.

Its a Ryder Slugplug dual - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4UWv8KVtbg Its a tubeless tyre plug kit that slides onto a small carrier. Can be mounted anywhere. I just like it there - its out of the way.
