There is no need to pull vaccum on brakes. It's a system that never sees vacum while in use. Now, in suspension it is a thing.

Thank you the frame has been sandblasted and shot peened with stainless steel powder, the surface is rough to the touch but creates a nice effect. some components have been overhauled others replaced, it took a long time to brush and sand each single screw, but the result is very satisfactory. the dyad contains twice as much oil compared to a traditional shock absorber, therefore the revision intervals are also lengthened and must be carried out by experts, so you don’t fall in problems.

That is a very beautiful bike! Super tasteful! while at that, how is the durability of this shock? And how about rebuilding? Cheers!

Great article. Always enjoy seeing behind the curtain on how stuff goes from ‘farm to table’

Wow, that's absolute nonsense. Throw it on the large pile of snake oil and bad science that we have in this sport. The only thing that matters is where the grips are relative to the steering axis (grip offset). Where the bars and the stem clamp together is irrelevant. So many people swear by a particular stem length even when comparing vastly different bars, and the bars usually make a larger difference than the stem. Especially riser bars which change the grip offset a truckload depending on what angle they're rolled to. Even bars with the same sweep angle can...

This neken stem should be a dropper stem, for geting as low as possible for climbs and high as possible for descends. I could not fancy any other utility for this design. Even the turning radius would be so wack, steering lock and all...

If it works like the Truck live valve, it would be a game changer for downhill. Imagine having the plushiest bike ever on rought rock garden, but high speed compression trough the roof on big jumps. 1,6 seconds on the air and BAM, the compression is ON, rebound too for 0.5s after the impact and then normal again.
You can tip the bike from side to side with way less force when you have the weight upper and actualy have more grip mid corner because of this. Its the same principle of supermotard bikes going circles around super sport motorbikes in a corner. with higher center of gravity you change some ability to point the bike in to...
If the industry had stayed with 26" wheels, there would be no need for dual crown "enduro" forks, 223mm brake rotors, 4-piston brakes on light-duty trail bikes, etc, but with 29" wheels there's so much more leverage and inertia. A 29" 170mm fork is over an inch taller than a 26" 170 fork, typically with less bushing overlap. They twist, they bend, they flex, and they creak. Most of all, they feel sketchy in really rough/steep/fast terrain. Haven't ridden the new crop of 38mm single crown forks, but at 190 pounds and 6'3" I can substantially support the argument that...
