The Scout goes from 2.85 to 2.15 and from the charts that I have seen, the Sight goes from about 3.2 to 2.6. The way we calculate progression...
2.85-2.15 = 0.70/2.85 = 24.6%
3.2-2.6 = 0.6/3.2 = 18.8%
Lots of other factors at play of course...

I just wish companies would offer decent spec on their ALU rigs. I don't want to buy an aluminum complete only to have to instantly replace breaks, shock and possibly fork as well. Any brand putting LevelT or low end guide brakes on there "enduro" bikes can fuck right off....more

Changing stroke length doesn't change leverage ratio. It lowers ride height at sag and increases the travel on the bottom-out side of the travel, but the average leverage ratio stays virtually the same. Changing rear center length does change the leverage ratio and wheel...more

It would be nice to have some technical content like this sprinkled on top of all the marketing that is force fed to the audience. It still boggles my mind that kinematics aren't discussed in great detail in a bike review and then further compared and contrasted with other bikes in their class.
