I put about 100 miles on the Fox DPX2 before my Super Deluxe Coil came in, so I can safely say there is a very noticeable difference. The DPX2 felt good and was very playful but, I feel that the bike feels more planted with the coil. When riding through rock gardens, roots or chattery sections, the bumps felt more muted and my traction for braking seamed better. I didn't lock up the brakes like I did with the air shock. How does the bike ride with the coil? Transition very much recommends not to run a coils since the suspension design is not progressive. I have heard you basically have to get a custom tuned coil shock (Push) for it to feel good and not blow through its travel.

I rode both bikes, liked the Patrol better. Felt more natural to my style and local trails. Sentinel is a sick bike as well.

Based on the setup Iād recommend XXL sentinel. Why compromise fit for carbon or wheelsize?

Nice review but the price is not true. First the thumbnail on your home page says $2399, then later in the article it says $2499 and if you actually go to the Canyon website it's $2899!!! If it's too good to be true, it's because somebody didn't properly research the price.
