This is for frame review only so cannot comment on the stock spec list. This frame is the best I have ridden to date. I upgraded from the Aluminum Session 88 DH and yes there was a very noticeable difference due to the instant 2lb drop and carbon fiber's reaction to rough terrain. I had to change all my compression and rebound settings. I have a fully custom build that I swapped straight over from the aluminum. The frame is not a plower like others I have ridden in the past. Excellent point Acadian...sorry.
I have to admit that I'm somewhat embarrassed, but I do have "special" zip ties. They are Panduit Cable Ties with steel barb lock, and dome-top (round edges). They are the best that I have found- never break and no sharp edges. Thanks! I used to be able to clean Mt. Falcon with a similar build nomad, but I haven't been on that trail for a long time. I like riding other trails around here more than Mt. Falcon.

There is lots of good with this frame, but mostly it comes down to the ride. For me it is a super good race bike in the respect that the closer I am to the limit the better it performs. It is really good on the edge (probably because of the setup I'm running, long and slack) and is reassuring in races.

Iguess at the end of the day I'm stoked that I've got the widest platform out there, and I see some of my buddies with the new 'lightest' thing every year. That's the thing though, they get new stuff every year and it all looks like garbage (as in disposable) to me. I just want my bike to work and my pedals have been at it since 2008. I know they are more baller than anything else out there. I guess it is like having the sleeper car that can smoke the competition. I also don't like having what...
