Great analysis. I was amped on Tuhoto-Pene’s run. Looking forward to watching how he goes at Leogang. Times are looking so close it might come down to sizing down on ridewear.

One of my favorite bikes. I had the green version with the magura hydraulic brakes. Put a 4” Marzocchi Bomber and riser bar on - and sent it. Years later it was my courier bike and snapped the rear triangle racing for a sub 5 cashy.

In botany terms, nuts are strictly a particular kind of dry fruit that has a single seed, a hard shell, and a protective husk. Sounds about right.

Had the pleasure of riding one of these back in day, hucking off 10ft drops to ugly root sections at Maidstone - NZ with ease. Thanks for sharing and conjuring up some good memories.

Super rad. Rather than a seperate trailer it would be cool to integrate the wheels on jacks so you could position the ramp.

You need the link or bottom bracket will drop too much and the head angle will go too slack.

Meta TR is still 29. I've got the 2021 race model which I ended up mulleting anyway. The 2022 race model looks even sweeter with TRP brakes, 511 rims and slightly tweeked geo to make a rad bike even radder.
