7/17/2022 7:51am It was indeed 2007 and 2008. I found the image below by Hoshi Yoshida of Greg on his Honda in 2007 running the number 27 plate. Does anyone know why these are the only years they had this system in place?

7/17/2022 7:24am Interestingly, in 2007 (or 2008, or both) the UCI allowed riders with top 20 (I think) from the previous year's overall to choose their own number for the whole season. Greg Minnaar blow running the number 27 plate for the whole year. I remember that year he had a roulette table painted on his helmet with the winning number being...

I never was a drug guy...but, I watch a lot of drug movies, documentaries, etc.....in saying that, I am guessing my feelings I get from the VITAL RAWs is like a drug addict. Then made worse when we have these big breaks, and I am waiting for Spomer to tell me "its uploaded"....and I am guessing that is the feeling when the needle hits the vein. How is that for a comment?!?! lol

Peaty was 9 times a top 5 worlds rider and 5 times a medalist-so I'd say Peaty's track record as a world championship caliber rider was very well aligned for a win.

Thanks man. Very happy to hear you’re stoked on the content. It feels like people were frothing even harder this year for World Cup RAW videos! Spomer asked me to dig out riders riding rocks then suggested I travel a little further into the past so I dug out my 2010 hard drive. I had originally everything in chronological order on the timeline which was cool but I thought it might be cool to group the shots by location regardless of the year. It jumps back and forth which is cool as you can see Mick Hannah hitting the same...

They’ve had a World Cup race there EVERY year apart from 1998, 2010 and 2019 when it was World Champs.

I have a few pairs of Shimano 737's around. Some have been ridden thousands of miles and still function perfectly despite being smashed and having deep gouges all over them. Shimano at its best.
