iceman2058 Added a reply to Thomson working on dropper/adjustable seatpost

There are some sweet looking posts on the way...KS LEV, Blackx Jewel, etc...surely only a matter of time before all these new entrants push the whole industry to up their game, including the big names (cable on the collar, play-free, etc - those are all innovations still waiting to happen for a lot of companies...). Can only be a good...

Pilgrim is just the nicest dude. Always happy, always sending it, always humble. Proves you don't need an attitude to be badass. Kagy, what a legend. I'm afraid he showed the MTBers what's up there. Guineapig to flat, and then wins. On some borrowed bike. :-)

Hands down, best 17 questions ever. And I'm not even saying that because it's with one of the girly girls. "It's not gonna take her long to find out who's been doin' the Hollywoodin'..."

Big Bird - there could have been a bit more (guardrails/wood/landings/space/padding), and a bit less (people/dogs/open drainage/cables/flat landings/metal railings on incredibly narrow stairs)....but then it wouldn't have been VALPARAISO, now would it? LOL. This event is totally mad. They wouldn't get approval for any of those "features" (=deathtraps) in the US/Europe....

iceman2058 Added a comment about video LIVE! Valparaiso Cerro Abajo Urban DH Race

Well that was underwhelming. I don't think that coverage was worthy of the Freecaster badge...3 cameras, 2 covering the same spot, and a completely disorganized broadcast as well - obviously, the local crew did not know what they were doing. I hope somebody will put out a nice edit for us instead...

PNW. Everytime I see stuff from there, I want to go ride in the rain. Thankfully, the madness usually passes before I have time to reach for the raingear... :-)

The world is cruel - poor Lance. From absolute living legend to celebrity, only took a couple of years. Pretty soon, he'll show up on Survivor, and be doing car battery ads. I even heard Paris Hilton called to ask if he wanted to come to her party.

I'm looking forward to 9t cassettes, innovation that truly matters. Goodbye FD, hello no compromises. I just hope it doesn't take the manufacturers another year to deliver... Looking forward to a great racing season, with awesome Vital coverage, looking forward to AM bikes that really do what it says on the box (I'm not gonna BUY one, just looking forward...

Big Bird, I got so bored of having nothing to moderate here, I fixed your spelling for ya. :-) Thanks Iceman. My computer tells me that I spell things wrong. But it wont tell me how to spell them right. Sometimes I just don't bother. As a mod. I'm always tempted to do that. But I'm not sure if I...
