We haven't tested it with 2X guides yet, we sent Giant home from interbike with a Dozen to test with various setups...we should know shortly if it works with 2X, they're testing that any day now! thanks for the interest, i'll let you know, once we get confirmation.

Hey alex! We just passed a dozen samples along to Giant for testing and we're quite stoked to announce that the part works with reign, anthem, anthem X, trance and trance X(non carbon) and both anthem and trance 29'r bikes.... however, the answer your quesiton, the jury is still out on 2X9/10 setups, giant is playing with them right now, so stay tuned. I really hope it'll work, but it's pretty tight down there...our fingers are crossed....

Seeaychar, It's nothing like what came on your Devinci (which is a really clean setup by the way)....It's an AFTERMARKET part that we engineered independently of Giant to retrofit a chainguide on the bike, your devinci was designed to have a removeable spider in the first place....

Yo! it's built around the BB 92 shell that giant uses but we haven't tried to apply it to anything else....it's optimized and designed around giant's line of trail/xc bikes that use BB 92 and lack chainguide tabs.

Big Bird, thanks for the feedback. Due to the fact that knurling reduces clamping surface and chews up the area it clamps on we decided against it. In fact we get plenty of bite without it. We've already got 3-4 months of testing on this setup and it has never budged. I personally have smacked plenty of rocks on my setup, and even destroyed the lower roller of a chainguide, but the adapter has never moved. I actually even beat on the boomerang with a 5 lb. hammer while it was bolted to the adapter plate and it stayed put.

Hey thanks man! i'm to blame for this, I mis spoke when I was giving Spomer the dirt on the adapter....It won't work with the trance x advanced carbon....good eye!
