Rad! since I am headed off to college next fall I figured I'd drop down to just one bike and living in the mid-west, a slacked out top fuel will get the job done in almost every situation.

Very nice! I also have a 2017 Slash running coil fork and shock on it as well so I still take it out for the steep and deep

Thanks! No worries for the questions, happy to answer them. For the 2021 frameset the Topfuel used a 190x45 Shock, the newer 2022 & 2023 frames use a 185x50 trunnion mount shock. As such the mounting hardware matches the stock shock for the DB Coil. The 130mm fork recommendation from Trek is because of the extra load on the headtube the longer lever of the fork causes. Two things allow me to trust the build, firstly the Fox 36 I'm using is only 6mm longer than the recommended axle to crown rather than the 10mm (130->140). Secondly I am an...

I think I may have just bought your frame then :D I have a Trek Slash and was looking to do a "Mini-Slash" build. Saw a M/L Top Fuel with a DB IL coil on Pros Closet. Rare thing to see and felt like it was meant to be!

If I was driving above the speed limit and crashed could I sue the car company for making a car that encourages me go above the posted speed limit? No, the fact is that I would have been breaking the law and I'm old enough to be aware that it's not safe to be speeding down the hill for some bragging rights against friends.
