Bike sizing and wheel size preference is very personal depending on your riding style, past bikes and setups etc. At 6'3" I would definitely put you square on an XL but riding a large isn't out of the question. Usually when people size up it takes some getting used to but they end up loving it in the long run. The bigger frame will give you more room to adjust and move your body while riding. Ideally you want to be pretty centered on your bike so you get good traction on both your front and rear wheel when climbing...

@transitionkevin Did you guys ever get to ride the trails that happen to be on your left on they way to "beyond" ( if you know you know ) Any plans on an updated cx/ gravel bike . I love my rapture but give it absolute death, more rear tire clearance would be great!

No reason at all really. We have not had much Shimano on the builds in the past few years, but we had Shimano spec bikes in the past and might again one day. What do you want? I will assume XTR only, right? --Sam

We tend to only make products we're really into...and there was a time we we're REALLLY into Klunkin, we would hold races in costumes and even Klunk enduros, it was a good time, sadly that time has passed! I wouldn't say never, but nothing in the works at the moment.

It all came from testing and what we liked better. Some modest increase in CS length improved front end traction and didn't take away from any playfulness. Across the board we already have quite slack head angles compared to a lot of other brands, but with the rest of our geo, we don't see any downside from it at all. --Sam

I ride East Coast woods and these tires have held up amazingly well. I'm aggressive and have have dealt with undercutting on other tires for years. The Vigilante 2.5 High Grip/ Light on the front is still strong. The rear Trail Boss does have some undercutting but is still predictable and fun!
