Yeh not a lot of 'steep' in our Adelaide hills, although there much gnarlier runs around than that trail. That trail is a shipload of fun though and actually one of the longer ones around the place! Around 4 minutes for a fairly middle of the road rider like myself.. can't wait to see Troy hit the world cups... such a crushing blow to be sidelined just as he was hitting his mark..

I totally stand corrected dude and will freely admit I was off the mark. And I'll remind myself to actually do some research next time. I figured any brand association would have been through broadcast rights etc... So I get what you're on about now... I did read an interesting article on the dailymail.co.uk site in regards to them going to extremes. It disappointing to find they're doing that. I'd prefer that they'd kept the Olympics an amateur contest and leave all the pros and any corporate dollars out of it.

I'm pretty sure no brands sponsor the Olympics. Given the Olympics amateur sporting contest roots they've always disallowed branding on uniforms etc. They're not being choosy, they just don't allow it across the board. It'll be a nice change instead of having logos galore shoved down our throats. And since when did a brand have anything to do with the world wide fellowship through sport? So the Olypmics in your view, need to embrace corporate sponsorship to be about "the world wide fellowship through sport"? If anything it's the opposite. While Redbull and their corporate counterparts make elite level competition...

The atmosphere in that com box is incredible... those guys account for 4/5ths of the intensity at least! Passion behind the mic can make an event, Crankworx was proof that if the guy behind the mic ain't on it, then it can be almost quite boring regardless of how hard the riders are shredding.. these guys are invaluable additions to the broadcasts of downhill. Bring on DH1!

When a guy wins in that fashion, loyalties go out the window. Hands down the best run I seen since Sam's Val Di Sole. I'm always gunning for Aussie riders but as with Peaty in 09, I was hoping Danny would get up for the win just because of how he lays it on the line. The way he rides is nothing short of astonishing, likewise with Gwin but for different reasons. Next year is going to be off the hook! Looking forward to my hometown boy Brosnan shredding next year in the WC.... spewing his run was in the...

Stoked to see Gwinny get up. Even as an Aussie I've got a lot of time for him. Looking forward to Aaron sticking himself in the middle of the fight all season. Give the other usual suspects something else to consider. After all you can't spell Gwin with out WIN right? hah hah er......
