I feel ripped off. How does that, in any way, bring big mountain and park skills to a SS course? That might be big and well put together but it's just like any other slopestyle course. Just glorified dirtjumps. I'd go as far as to say they're further from their goal here than they were in years past without even trying.

DEFINITELY chick's fault. He tried to pass her for a couple hundred yards on WIDE singletrack with that 8itch swerving all over the trail that she was going WAY too slow on then then she stops completely on the MIDDLE LINE of a bermed turn. Stop anywhere else in that turn and there would've been passing space. It's obviously a...

My problem is I've yet to find a sport that doesn't kick ass. Pretty much every sport is interesting to me. Even those little ice skating fruit cakes impress me. It's best for me to ignore a sport unless I have money to blow. At the top of my list: Backpacking Climbing Fishing Bowhunting Whitewater Kayak Touring AND........ UNIVERSITY OF...

I was an Avid guy for a while. Then I did a stint on Shimano. I've owned multiple Shimano brakes the last couple years. I've now jumped fully onto the Formula bandwagon. It's the only disc brake brand I promote to my friends and customers now. Every Shimano brake I've ridden (old LX, Saint, XT, XTR, new XT, XTR, SLX...

IMO Formula has the most dialed brakes out there right now. I've got the new Ones on my 7" bike. They are lighter than anything Shimano or Avid make and embarrass the Codes in terms of power and modulation. To cap it off they have nice top load pads, dual mc bleed ports, and they are stout as hell. The...

You'd rather the industry try to talk xc guys into 20mm axles? wtf ever. Be realistic dude. Let's just let the 9mm qr die with no fuss.

Sorry to get a little OT but I turned to my Toubab Crewe Pandora station on the audio in the shop while we ran muted bike movies on the TV. It constantly matched up freakishly well with any segment. We concluded that Toubab Crewe is just some kick ass music to ride to. That's a trend I can get behind...

What is there to not understand? It's a swing link single pivot. The point on the swingarm where the bottom of the shock mounts is static relative to the shock stroke. It only floats perpendicular to the shock stroke just like that link will. The chief benefit imo is you can drop weight and increase strength by having one less mounting location on the main frame. I'm a little split on the idea though. I've always believed in having as low an unsprung weight as possible and that system obviously raises the unsprung weight significantly. The biggest counter to that...
