Additional Info

Crossworx' trail bike, the Lite290 is the smaller brother of the DASH Enduro bike and carries the big brother's genes through and through. The LITE provides 130 mm of progressive travel at the rear making it the perfect bike for your local trails and all-day exploring adventures.

As this was is my personal bike, we went for a mix of my fav components from our range. Intend fork and shock and Formula 2-piston brakes with Intend rotors and upgraded to RG Tec levers, which pivot on cartridge bearings for that super light and smooth feel without any play. Shifting is provide by trusty GX paired with the super smooth INGRID 10-48t 12 Speed cassette which provides ample range and excellent shifting between every gear. Ingrid's CRS-X crans paired with the INGRID BSA BB adds to the CNC theme of the bike. The wheels are TUNE Race28, rolling on the KillHill and ClimbHill hubs and weigh just 1495g and together with Wolfpack's 840g trail tires provide that light and nimble overall feel.

The 130mm on the rear is provided by a 210x50mm shock and usually paired with a 140mm or 150mm fork. On this bike we started out like this, but then extended the shock to its full stroke (simple on the Intend Hover shock with external spacers) of 55mm providing 144mm to the rear. Paired with the fork at 160mm (The Ebonite can be adjusted between 140 - 180mm) this was the preferred setup for this bike making it a very capable and fun all-rounder.

The ST angle of 78deg is steep for a trail bike, but a charcteristic of this bike and gives a lovely relaxed upright position with excellent pressure on the pedals for those steeper climbs. The HT angle of 65.5deg is perfect for all round trail riding.

A true standout feature of the Crossworx Lite and Dash is the stunning CNC box section made from two halves welded together that houses the links that actuate the shock.

If you're not familiar with Crossworx, look them up! Perfection handmade in Germany.
