Dylan Added a new video The Syndicate Enters into the Coil vs Air Debate

4/27/2019 12:03am
Coil vs Air, it's a never ending debate and something that riders tend to swap out frequently. The Syndicate have always leaned towards coil due to the progressive nature of the V10, but lately we've started to lean towards the bigger air can of the Float X2. Tune in and see what everyones thoughts are, including a Friday morning, pre-practice puzzle with Jordi and Loris for good measure.

"Luca Shaw had a big off last week whilst we were out in San Romolo doing some last minute prep for the first WC out in Maribor. Initially everything was looking good and there was only a 'sore shoulder' to contend with, but after a tough two runs in practice this morning we took him to hospital to get him...

Someone at Scott is on a reverse mullet bike, I'm guessing Marine. I am genuinely surprised by the number of reverse mullet bikes. I always assumed the industry picked 27.5" because it was halfway between 26" and 29", therefore, is there another wheel size in that range that is even more optimal? Metric wheel sizes for 2020?... Let's hope not...
Ratboy and Sammy doing what they do best; Out in the woods with no pressure and shredding just for the grins. The UK has been blessed with perfect Spring weather which has made for some awesome trail conditions. Watch Rat and Sammy soak up the Staffs sun and flirt some dirt.

It's been a whole year since the GT Factory Racing team hung out together, and with 2019 season around the corner, they took the opportunity to head to beautiful New Zealand to bond over beers and bikes before racing got underway. From New Plymouth to Rotorua, the gang explore Wyn's old stomping grounds, surf some major waves, meet the winner of the GT Pinkbike GTFO with GTFR contest and, of course, ride and race bikes. Oh, and they finally got to find out who this George fellow is!

It was only fairly recently that juniors got their own race, prior to that they had to qualify in elites and could podium in elites. But you're right though I don't recall anyone having done it. Given that she cleaned up last year doesn't she really have anything left to prove as a junior? This thread makes some interesting points https://www.vitalmtb.com/forums/The-Hub,2/Does-Having-Junior-Categories…

By the looks of it when you run one shock, it goes in the downtube. You've gotta hand it to Cannondale though, they certainly live outside the box. 2Stage had a DH bike back in the day that ran two shocks but with a completely different concept. They had one shock for small bumps and one for big hits. Foes...

Vali's time would have put her within 2 seconds of Tracey and 2nd in elites. It's probably been said a million times but Vali is going to dominate women's downhill very soon. Do we have any confirmation if she's stepping up to elites or is she going to clean up in juniors for another year?
