A lot of it has to do with how much material you have at the drop out area. You can have a 20mm axle but if the interface between the drop out and leg is spindly you will have flex. We choose to add more material at the drop out and go with a thicker15mm axle. Cheers, dvo.

Yup! We will have high speed and low speed plus shims on both the rebound/mid valve and compression valve. No 3 position generic settings for us! Cheers, dvo.

We have a stiffer magnesium casting with more material around the drop out area and on the fork legs, this provides a stiffer structure than a 20mm axle would provide. Plus, we won't make a spindly thin axle that will flex.

Goddamn, the marketing and hype around these has been nuts. I don't really ride gravity, and I don't own a DH bike. Hell, my main ride is a rigid SS. But I want one. I don't have a bike to put it on, but I want one.

Dave, we plan on getting the new Diamond out around April of next year, hopefully that fits into your window so you don't have to buy a Pike! We will keep everyone informed via our FB on exactly when the Diamond will be ready for production. Cheers, DVO!

Of course we do! Balance between the front and rear is really important (to us at least) and we will have a high performance enduro style race shock to match the Diamond 160. Cheers, DVO
