These supposedly dampen small vibrations, thus making the bike faster. In order to dampen vibrations you need to absorb and dissipate the energy in the vibrations. That's a fact. However, you need a mechanism to dissipate said energy. Your shock is compressed between two points forcing fluid through small holes which heats the shock, playdoh is heated when worked, piezoelectric crystals transform mechanical energy into electrical. Axxios-tech has not disclosed the mechanism that performs this function. And extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. First, NOT going to complain about word count. Nice to read some thought out, articulate expression instead of a 250 word caption. Thank you. As for wants - better bikes for less money? How about maybe just the same bikes for less money? Bikes are pretty fancy nowadays, and besides wheel size and carbon, not changing a whole lot. I don't want more, I just want normal at a reasonable price. More trails would be nice, but there's many caveats in there... More races? No. Enduro and Urban DH has about sewn that up. It's a ROVAL wheel up front, and since he is on a Specialized bike i would assume that it is a stock wheel, so no funny axle.

Defenitly 650b, it is shown in the video. It seemed a bit shorter than an usual enduro fork (I would guess at about 140-ish) but it could be the inverted design.

Nah... It is not (only) the bike. Peaty for example rode quite "slow" today, compared to what he has done before on this track, even though he has been on the same bike since 2008-ish?

There is also lots of reasons to hate on Gwin. Not only is he the fastest guy. He also left his team like a douchebag. I liked him before, but now... Not so much.

Nice bike! I am considering grip shift as well with shimano xt brakes, but i have heard the gripshifters take up a lot of space, making it hard to reach the brakes. How is it in your oppinion?
