Sometimes I don't get the hate Sram receives. We are all arguably on better bikes and better drivetrains because of their push for 1x. One of my favorite bikes ever, the Kona Process 111 was able to be created because of 1x systems (Kona unapologetically designed it without the ability to run a FD). Color me a Sram fanboy if you'd like, but they aren't afraid to shake up the status quo with new innovations. I have AXS on my Spur and run the AXS reverb on 2 different bikes and absolutely love it. I can't wait to see the...

No Brain! It also looks like a revised Reverb (the battery enclosure looks different, as does the control), and the brake levers that were previously popping up in patent diagrams (i.e. the ones that work well with headset cable routing). Also, f**king headset cable routing.

Fully external routing: fine. Internal routing, guided: fine. Internal routing, unguided, with large entrance and exit ports: also generally fine. Internal routing, unguided, with small entrance and exit ports: not fine. Through the headset: fuck all the way off.

I think the Sniper's really appealing as an XC bike... especially when compared to almost every other brand offering what's essentially a single pivot bike in the XC space. From a suspension design standpoint, only the Ibis Exie and Revel Ranger compare (the latter being too heavy to really be included). Oh, and the Stoll M2 🤤
