D.O.M.B Started a new thread New Forks help.
8/12/2014 12:41am Trying to decide on a new fork for my bike. My DJ2 is getting old . Looking for something with more. I was looking at a Circus expert and a 409 argyle. ( the RCT is a bit out of my price range ) I have read a lot of good about the Circus . But how does the argyle...

3/19/2012 6:33pm Thanks Bra its a bitch. let me tell you . the bike handles soo nice . But if you don't get your foot in the fork at the right time your toes get the worst of it .

Do you like the dartmoor shine ? Its a lighter frame set and I have been told a better handling setup. I wanted a killswitch but a lot of the owners told me of the infamous pedal bob. A shine frame only I think sells for 900 now. With shock more but I think the shock is a monarch...

9/14/2011 11:21am If you ride fine , you don't need it. Sus forks are more for dj and or really nuts type street riding like drops of 10 foot stair cases.

9/13/2011 4:08pm True a fox is a pricey option. The circus expert is a good deal. Can't really vogue for it though since I never owned or rode one but have heard good things thus far . I personally like to use Marzocchi dj 1 and 2 forks. they are very tune able if you know how to and there are tons...

9/11/2011 1:45pm Well the P1 is a great starter bike. Itis pretty much set up right out of the box. The fork for this bike is a straight up swap for a 80-100 mm geo if you ever wanted to get one for it . A rigid fork any lower however on this frame will be tooo low since SBC already maxed...

7/6/2011 4:41pm A ton!!! The slope bikes rear suspension adds a lot of weight to the bike and the shox soak up tons of pedal power.

5/30/2011 2:57pm Best bet for a good bike like you described would be hit up the net buy and sells. I built mine for around 750 some new some use parts. If you plan to ride trails i would suggest looking into a single speed set up. I use to run gears on one of my Dirt jump bikes and it really...
D.O.M.B Added a reply to 24" vs 26"
5/30/2011 3:51am 24 stronger wheel in 32h spec 26 faster rolling keep with 36h 3cross spoke pattern really no difference maybe clearance if you decide to 360 an stairwell ;p
D.O.M.B Added a reply to help: dirt jumper singlespeed rear hubs
5/30/2011 3:41am Profile if you want a hub with a lo of options. comes in 36h and you can switch out parts like drivers axles and bearings if you would like to mill your drop outs to 14mm spec . The NS is lighter but your limited to hole options due to there lack of availability and you can't do things like...
